If you’re considering purchasing a soundbar, I strongly suggest opting for this speaker instead. I trust you’ll be delighted with it. I’ve been using it for over a month now and have completely abandoned my headphones because it delivers the perfect sound I was seeking. The sound is well-balanced and clean, with phenomenal sound staging. At this price range, nothing else comes close to beating it.

If you’re seeking pleasing sound quality, this speaker is a great choice. However, don’t expect heavy bass from it.

The built quality is flawless, but there’s one minor issue that doesn’t bother me much: when I turn the volume up to the maximum, it clips and adds some distortion, especially with certain genres. However, it’s perfectly fine at around 90% of the peak volume. Overall, if you’re looking to make good music on a budget, the MR4 is a great option. It doesn’t feel cheap at all.

These speakers are designed for near-field use, meaning they excel when placed close to your monitor. The sound quality is exceptional in this setup, even when playing games that support Atmos.

I found that I needed to adjust the EQ slightly by increasing the Low-Shelf at 120Hz by 4dB to get a slight bass boost, and I reduced the preamp accordingly. I wasn’t a fan of using the bass control on the back as it made the mids sound a bit strange.
